97 YEARS AND 414 KILOMETERS OF PASSION

PassioneRaid is an independent space, dedicated to boats & engines, speed and (Ticino and Po) rivers lovers, who have devoted (and continue to devote) part of their lives to these passions, inspired by the story of the most beautiful powerboat race in the world "il Raid Pavia Venezia".

 

We operate on a non-profit basis and we are not affiliated with any organization, driven solely by our passion and by those who share it. Our goal is to involve as many enthusiasts as possible in telling stories of people, images, and events that belong to the history of the Raid and of powerboating. So that time will not erase remarkable pages written over seventy-two editions, we created a place to collect memories and testimonies that can convey, also to non-experts, a “97 years and 414 kilometers long” Passion.

 

If you have experienced, followed or loved the Raid, you may hold something important: a photograph, a video, a newspaper clipping, a personal story, an anecdote, a memory… This material has great value, it should not remain hidden in a drawer and it deserves to be shared.

We know that a vast heritage is preserved in drawers and in people’s memories. It is to them that we turn, to write this story together. PassioneRaid was created to collect and share online all these authentic testimonies, becoming (we hope) a living archive, accessible to all enthusiasts connected to the Raid Pavia–Venezia.
